The project involved the recladding on an existing non-operational hotel to meet new fire regulations. The works involved testing and analysis of the existing external wall build up to allow the design of the new cladding system to be finalised and approved by regulatory bodies. Mast climbers were erected to allow for existing non-compliant materials to be removed and replaced with new A1 fire rated aluminium composite cladding panels. Build cost £1.5M with a 6-month construction programme.
